It is often said that driving from Phoenix to Grand Canyon is the scenic equivalent of driving from Mexico to Canada because of the incredible environmental diversity of the state. Day 1 - With an early morning departure through the Sonoran desert, we approach Sedona and visit one of 2 National Monuments, either Tuzigoot or Montezuma's Castle. Both monuments represent societies of Sinagua indians who inhabited this area a thousand years ago. Once in Sedona touring options range from the spiritual to the environmental. You can hike into a vortex, shop, or get a psychic reading. Helicopter, horseback or jeep tours are available and our guides always make you feel like you are on your very own private tour. Our guide will explain options for activities and dining while you are on your own in Sedona. The guide will depart Sedona around 2pm. You will be met the following morning around 9:30 am to travel to Grand Canyon. Dinner and an overnight stay are in Sedona tonight with many choices for accommodations. (Price range for Sedona lodging is $85.00-$160.00/room)

Day 2 - You will meet today's tour at 9:30am and travel one of the country's best scenic routes. Oak Creek Canyon has 1000+ foot canyon walls and switchbacks through a lush green Ponderosa pine forest on our way to Flagstaff. We arrive at the south rim of Grand Canyon at approximately 12:00 pm with hiking, multiple rim views and helicopter tours among our options. Dinner and an overnight stay with a sunset vista from the south rim are here tonight with several options for lodging. Your guide will check you into your hotel and depart for Phoenix around 2 pm. Options for activities and dining will be explained for while you are on your own. (Price range for Grand Canyon lodging is $120.00-$160.00/room)

Day 3 - You will have the morning to yourself at the Grand Canyon until about 1:30pm. At that time, you will join today's tour for the East Rim Drive and more Grand Canyon views on the way to the Navajo Nation and views of the Painted Desert. We return to Phoenix at approximately 7:30 pm.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours in Phoenix: Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, hats, visors and sunglasses.

Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.
