Whitewater Rafting on the Salt River Canyon

1-Day Rafting River Trip. Meet at base camp at your designated time. Complete check in, load camp bags and get dressed for the river. (We recommend wetsuit and wetsuit boots for March to Mid-April trips, otherwise just wetsuit boots).

Receive safety orientation and boating instruction, then hit the river for the rapids of "Baptism", "Island', "Kiss and Tell", "Bump and Grind", "Grumman", "Mother Rock", and "Overboard Rapid". Stop for lunch at "Second Camp" and enjoy a hot grilled lunch prepared by our staff. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic beauty! After lunch, hold on and paddle hard as you hit "Exhibition", "Cibecue", "Three Way" and the exhilarating "Mescal Falls" - hang on! Upon reaching the take out at "Hoodoo" we will have entered the Upper Sonoran Desert and descended over 200 feet. If time allows we will stop for a short hike up Cibecue Canyon to view majestic waterfalls.
