Based on time, your picnic lunch will either be served in Sedona or at the Grand Canyon.

Take in scenic views of the Oak Creek Canyon from the highway and see the San Francisco Peaks among the seemingly endless Ponderosa Pine Forest. Drive up 6,000 feet (1,800 meters) and arrive at the stunning Grand Canyon National Park. Spend at least three hours with your knowledgeable guide exploring the widest and deepest part of the canyon, which stretches 277 miles (445 km) long. Visit the El Tovar Hotel and Hopi House in Grand Canyon Village, and enjoy multiple scenic lookout points along the East Rim Drive. Take time to shop, take a walk along the canyon’s rim, enjoy photo opportunities and visit cultural exhibits along the rim.

As you leave the Grand Canyon, marvel at the vistas across the Painted Desert as you enter the largest reservation in America, the Navajo Nation. Your comprehensive Grand Canyon day trip begins as you fly in a Cessna airplane to the West Rim of the canyon. As you listen to the narration, you’ll enjoy unobstructed views of the canyon and other fabulous Arizona landscapes. Have lunch at Guano Point (included) on the rim of the Grand Canyon, and do a little hiking if you wish. The views of the canyon and the Colorado River a mile below are spectacular.

During the tour, you’ll visit Eagle Point and a village of authentic Native American homes; enjoy a Native American cultural performance; and walk out on the Skywalk – the canyon’s most exciting attraction. This platform extends out over the edge of the canyon, providing heart-racing views of the canyon floor beneath you.

Also included is a seven-minute helicopter ride down to the floor of the canyon, where you’ll walk briefly to the edge of the Colorado River and hop on a pontoon boat for a leisurely 15-minute ride on the water. The canyon cliffs will tower above you as you soak in the incredible beauty. Your flight back to the rim of the canyon will reconnect you with your airplane pilot for your return flight to Phoenix.

  • Aircraft used are Cessna Caravans and T207's. These high winged airplanes are perfect for flightseeing and picture taking.

This 13-hour tour makes the most of a one day journey to the Grand Canyon. See the Grand Canyon via a small group of up to five passengers maximum. This small group tour gives you a more personal and comfortable experience as you make your way to your final destination. You may be taken to a variety of stops throughout this tour such as the Painted Desert, Cameron Trading Post, or Route 66. Lastly, you'll get a chance to visit a few of the canyon's best overlooks such as Yavapai Point, Moran Point, Grand Canyon Village, and Desert View Watchtower.

This full-day adventure will begin in the Metro Phoenix area. Pickup at many local area hotels is included by Chrysler Town and Country vans for a comfortable experience.

Enjoy just the right amount of narration and quiet time to take in the scenery and history as you travel to the Grand Canyon. A few possible spots to stop and visit on the way are the historic area of Route 66, Cameron Trading Post on the Navajo Nation. Some tours visit Sedona or Montezuma Castle on the way.

Your expert guide will take you to the Grand Canyon for about a 4-hour visit, making sure you get all of the best views that the park has to offer. Some incredible overlooks can be seen from Grand Canyon Village, Yavapai Point, and Desert View Watchtower.
